At last a fine sunny day, but whether we went to Mount Field was in doubt for a while because it was uncertain if the heavy snowfalls of the previous days would have melted at Lake Fenton. We went ahead and fortunately it had and arrived to be greeted by a calm lake, which remained all day, and pleasantly warm sun.
More gravel was carried and some uneven rocks fixed. One area with a few water flows had a lot of large rocks added and drainage done. As there had been much rain and snow in previous days, it was easy to see where these wet points were.
