Junee Cave Reserve Planting
14 August 2018
We were fortunate to gain 30 plants through the sponsorship of Fifteen Trees and the support of Landcare Tasmania. Trevor from Parks & Wildlife Service suggested that the degraded area at the start of the Junee caves walking track as the site. It has been used by people making fires and it is hoped that the planting will discourage this.
Fortunately the weather was ideal and the work was all done prior to lunch, which we had back at the visitor centre. River levels were quite high and a Russell Falls was quite a sight.
