The outside walls of the hut were again in need of painting, it was almost 3 years (April 2010) since they were done and already there were signs that another coat would be beneficial. Most of the team worked on the painting. The cement slab that had supported the firebox was broken up and luckily most of it could be rolled outside for breaking up which saved making the inside of the hut too dusty. The crushed remains were placed on a wet section of track.
Some left over Maddison Oil was used on the floor and a new door was put in as the old one was disintegrating at the bottom.
Greg busy on the new door.
