Lady Barron Falls

 Saturday 21 June 2025

The work on this mild and sunny winter day was clearing and tidying the track from Tall Trees to Lady Barron Falls. On arriving at the visitor centre we were intrigued by the loud bird noises, which we were informed was from two Sea Eagles nesting and being hassled by Wedge-tailed Eagles.

Although it remained mild in the forest we, of course, lost the benefit of being in the sun, but it was lighting up the trees above splendidly. Apart from clearing and tidying there were intruding ferns to cut back and on the bridges worn out chicken wire to remove. The wire will be replaced by non slip strips.
