Lake Nicholls

Although light on numbers we were content with what was achieved on the day and were able to enjoy the time in the bush.
The track between Beatties Tarn and Lake Nicholls is in quite good condition, with just a few short sections that would benefit from early pruning. However there were two trees fallen over the track and we cleared these using a bowsaw and cut a 21 metre length of Bauera just south of the Nicholls moraine.
Whilst a the hut the bottom of the door was sawn because it was jamming and difficult to open and replaced the FOMF information folder which had broken.
