Lake Seal

Immediately prior to this date, Mount Wellington had received a covering of snow and it was feared that getting to Lake Seal might be a problem.  However, in a reversal of the usual situation, there was hardly any sign of snow at Mount Field even though the south facing parts of Wellington still had some late on the Saturday.

The drains on the Lake Seal track were cleared as most had a build up of gravel and litter and an additional one was dug where the new section of boardwalk was installed.  The boardwalk has almost been complete, with about 10 treads short which will be added shortly.  Some additional trimming of vegetation has made access to areas easier.
