Visitor Centre Area - Rehabilitation

Work continued on removing the various weed species in the area immediately near the bridge at the park entrance sign. Once we started on the effort it became apparent that it was a bigger job than first thought, and took six of us quite a time to clear the site. Part of the party worked on removing Broom from the land on south side of the Tyenna River. All cut weeds had the herbicide glyphosate applied to any trunks remaining in the ground.
The large piles of cut weeds were loaded into two parks utes with trailers and transported to the parks rubbish burn site.
