An almost continuous section of 80 metres was hardened with rock. Some quite sizeable rocks were rolled and together with other rocks collected have made a most solid and stable track. We are becoming more proficient and experienced in selecting and setting in rocks.

Where there was sufficient slope a drain was installed to allow water to run off the track.

Between Lake Fenton and just beyond the work site several sections with vegetation overgrowing the track were also cleared.
