Maintenance on Old Pack Track at Mt Field NP on Saturday 9 Feb 08
Work on clearing back vegetation, mostly in the form of bauera, encroaching on the Old Pack Track was commenced from the Lake Nicholls end. This historic track which is fairly level saves walking on the road for anyone doing the Field East Circuit, and is quite a delightful walk with varied flora along the way. Some 600 metres of 900 metre section of track has now been cleared during two working bees.
